The school has achieved the ‘Outstanding’ grade that it should rightly have and we should celebrate all of the hard work that has taken place by everybody within the school community for many years now.
Whilst it is important to pause and congratulate the staff, children, parents and many friends of the school, I have also personally drawn from the experience an even clearer vision of what the school can do to improve further and provide your children with an even better educational experience than they currently have. We may now be within the top 6% of primary schools in the country (and the only ‘Outstanding’ primary in Burton), but the very, very best schools are those that have two consecutive outstanding grades and it is my personal ambition to achieve this (before expiring quietly into a heap in the corner). As part of this, I would like to share some of the additional information that the inspectors gave me and have therefore added some notes on the inspection report.
